Liquid-to-Liquid In-Row CDU

Build liquid cooling capacity around the demands of tomorrow. Gradian in-row liquid-to-liquid CDUs provide the thermal and hydraulic interface between facility and technology cooling loops, with flexible architectures engineered to support multi-megawatt scale.

  • 600 kW–2.5 MW Standard Cooling Capacity

  • Scalable to 10 MW+ with Modular Deployment

  • Up to N+2 Redundancy

Key Features

Multiple Redundancy Options

1+1 pump redundancy with alternating operation and a dual-filter design let pumps and filters be serviced without stopping the loop. Dual power input with seamless switching and redundant communication interfaces keeps cooling running through any single pump, power, or filter fault.

Intelligent Control & Monitoring

Multiple CDUs can be networked and managed together through coordinated group control, running as one system across the deployment. PLC-based control with constant flow, differential-pressure, and temperature modes holds supply to ±1°C, with integrated sensors feeding real-time monitoring throughout the loop.

Capacity Flexibility

Choose from a wide range of capacities, from 600 kW to 2.5 MW, with modular capability to connect multiple units for 5 MW, 7.5 MW, 10 MW, and beyond, supporting everything from enterprise deployments to hyperscale AI data centers.

Scale to Whatever Comes Next

A cooling platform that can't grow past its own spec sheet isn't a platform; it's a ceiling. Configure capacity, connections, filtration grade, communication protocol, and electrical options to suit your project, with modularization to connect units in parallel to reach 10 MW and beyond.

  • Configurable to the Project - Adjust capacity, connection orientation, filtration, and comms protocol instead of forcing the project around a fixed spec.

  • Modular Scaling Beyond 2.3 MW - Connect units in parallel to reach 5 MW, 7.5 MW, 10 MW, and beyond as demand grows.

  • Optional Equipment Available - Pair with harmonic filters and ATS switches to match site electrical requirements.

Built Around Your Loop

Every facility’s cooling loop is different and presents a unique set of challenges. Gradian designs its CDUs to adapt to different server flow and pressure requirements, supporting a wide range of cooling architectures.

  • Multi-Coolant Support - Run on DI water or water-based antifreeze such as PG25.

  • Flexible Flow & Pressure Matching - Adapt to different server-side flow and pressure requirements rather than a single fixed profile.

  • Broad Architecture Compatibility - Support a range of cooling architectures across enterprise and hyperscale deployments.

Serviceable by Design

A CDU that's hard to service eventually becomes a problem down the line. Automatic fill and easy-access service speed up installation and maintenance.  Keep the system running without sacrificing uptime.

  • Automatic Fill & Air Venting - Reduce manual startup steps during commissioning and refills.

  • Front & Rear Service Access - Service components without full unit removal or a shutdown.

  • Flange or Clamp Connections - Match the connection type your install process is already built around.

FAQ SECTION

Questions, answered.

  • An in-row L2L CDU is a coolant distribution unit that transfers heat between a facility water loop (primary side) and a technology cooling loop (secondary side), supporting direct-to-chip liquid cooling and rear-door heat exchangers (RDHx) in high-density data centers.
